The repair kit allows you to keep on paddling even after a small mishap! The kit contains:

• 2 alcohol swabs
• 2 super sticky and water-resistant patches
• 2 ripstop patches

If you have a small puncture, use the alcohol swabs to clean and dry the surrounding area. Get rid of any traces of dirt or humidity. Then cut a piece of the adhesive patch a few centimetres bigger than the puncture you want to mend and stick it on carefully so that there are no folds or air bubbles.

If you can access the puncture from the inside (internal storage option) put a patch on the inside for maximum airtightness as well as the outside.

The ripstop patches can be used to repair the inflation bag if you ever tear it.

Mekong Tip: The adhesive patches can be used to finish your trip and are water resistant. Make sure to check them regularly though, especially if they are placed somewhere that might keep rubbing while you paddle. If, after you trip you want to make a definitive repair, you can peel it off and clean the remaining glue with some acetone. We offer the possibility of a welded repair in our workshop, all you will need to do is send it in and it will come back like new!
